The fairies stared around them. Then they rose higher, sailing above a path bordered with pink clover blossoms, past the fairy houses and shops of Cloverleaf Village. After leaving the village, the ponies turned west. They flew steadily on for three hours, past forests and hills and meadows.

He served the fairies their meals and took care of the three winged ponies in the stable behind the cottage. The fairies explained their plan to him during dinner. Bink pushed back a lock of reddish brown hair that had fallen over one eye.
